My past work experience includes an Administrative Assistant Position at The United Nations Global Compact for The Communications and Strategic Events Team (Dan Thomas - Chief Executive Officer).
In this position, I managed and prioritized admin workflow for the Chief of Communications and Strategic Events, Dan Thomas.
This included coordinating the communications by identifying those of immediate importance and tracking, scheduling, and following up on all requests (Zoom, Google Suite, Etc.).
In addition, I performed a variety of accounting activities including processing reimbursements, funding requests, invoices, and amendments.
I also supported the team on media monitoring and press releases. As well as helped to facilitate and manage process between authors, speech writers, and The Executive Director & CEO (Sanda Ojiambo).
Lastly, I made sure to ensure and maintain confidentiality of all communications and documentation.
