Cristina Pantin
Executive Assistant | Madrid, Spain
I graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelors degree in Marketing and Hospitality Management. While attending Florida State, I interned in the Public Relations department of the Biltmore Hotel in Miami and also worked for a Special Events and Public Relations Agency.
Soon after graduation, I worked for a small non-profit organization in Miami called America's Relief Team, where I was the Communications Coordinator and helped with administrative tasks, event and meeting planning and social media/marketing duties. After about a year, I took on a new role as a coordinator with Macy's, Inc as part of their Southeast Special Events where I helped to coordinate events within stores securing vendors, managing budgets and planning events from start to finish. After a year as a coordinator, I transitioned into a manager position taking on more responsibility and larger scale events within the team. I was with Macy's for for a little over 6 years and really enjoyed my experience with the company.
In 2018, I decided to take on a new adventure and move to Spain where I am now in my 3rd year of being an English teacher and while it has been challenging at times, it has been an extremely rewarding journey. I look forward to new professional opportunities that align with my studies and experience and excited for what the future holds.
