BIO:

I graduated from The Ohio State University with my BS in zoology. For 13+ years, I worked in a variety of positions in the veterinary field where I became highly proficient in calendar/email management, maintaining detailed records, building rapport/relationships with clients through social media & in-office appointments, as well as writing educational articles & blog posts. I served as a leader in a small nonprofit organization for 2 ½ years where I was responsible for creating guidelines, planning larger events, and facilitating conflict resolution amongst members. With over two thousand, 5-star reviews as a former remote/virtual ESL teacher, I am passionately driven to support others by successfully identifying and achieving goals.

My previous employers would speak to my trustworthiness in all responsibilities and proactive attention to detail. I’m a quick learner and enjoy mastering new skills. I strive to bring excellence to all my work.

I live on a small homestead where I enjoy growing my own fruits & vegetables, raising chickens/collecting eggs, and watching my barn cats and dog play. When I’m not focused on work, I’m busy homeschooling my 3 wonderful children. I also enjoy playing the piano, reading, vintage hunting, and diving into a great Bible study. I strongly believe that coffee is an acceptable drink at any time of the day!

EXPERIENCE:

For the past 5 years, working remotely has sharpened my ability to successfully problem solve, quickly adapt to evolving situations, and be self disciplined. My previous positions include various leadership, administrative, customer service/hospitality, marketing, project management, and research work. These roles have helped me develop a unique and diverse skillset that has prepared me to effectively offer support as an executive assistant.

HOW I COMMUNICATE:

I tend to ask a lot of questions before starting on a project or task to make sure I have clarity on what needs to be done/accomplished. I prefer to communicate via email, but am also open to phone/video calls.

HOW I PREFER TO RECEIVE FEEDBACK:

I prefer to receive written feedback with “glows” and “grows” with specific examples. This helps me fully understand what is working well and what is not. I value sincerity and honesty in feedback.
