BIO:
While serving in the field of education, I mentored hundreds of secondary students, teaching them the necessary English skills that would propel them forward in their studies. Additionally, I have experience teaching both students and colleagues about emotional intelligence and self-improvement. As a social work student intern, I have provided therapeutic services to those with chemical addictions, eating disorders, and more. I am passionate about helping others to be their best self and helping them to grow both intellectually, spiritually, and emotionally. Communication, authenticity, and growth are of utmost importance to me in both personal and professional relationships.
I am reliable, headstrong, and can easily adapt to any challenges that are thrown at me. I have a passion for learning new things, a natural at organization, and I strive for excellence in all that I do.
EXPERIENCE:
I have had many varied experiences that prepared me for the EA role well. I have worked as a social media manager for my local University’s food pantry as well as a local wine specialty shop. Additionally, while a teacher, I constantly worked with data and created and maintained organizational systems in order to complete tasks efficiently.
HOW I COMMUNICATE:
I like to know exactly what is expected of me; therefore, I enjoy detailed lists and instructions. After reviewing expectations for a project, I am prone to ask lots of questions before beginning a project so that I may complete tasks correctly and in an appropriate amount of time.
HOW I PREFER TO RECEIVE FEEDBACK:
I prefer to receive feedback over the phone or Zoom; written constructive criticism may not be received in the writer’s intended tone, and I believe video and/or audio calls help to avoid this. I personally like to hear what I did best first, then hear what it is I need to work on. I value constructive criticism because that means I have room to grow.
