BIO:
For the past 9 years I developed my leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills while working in a senior role in the healthcare sector. Along with servicing a health insurance plan’s unique membership I was able to successfully review and train a versatile staff. I enjoy interacting with clients, providing support, and resolving issues.
I am a natural problem solver and critical thinker. I thrive when I am accomplishing tasks and seeing projects through to the end. I pride myself on my ability to anticipate needs, organize, and improve processes and workflows.
EXPERIENCE:
I’ve been an office assistant supporting three business owners in the entertainment industry for the past 7 months. Prior to that I worked in an administrative role with executives at a federal insurance company for 6 years.
HOW I COMMUNICATE:
Generally, I prefer to receive instructions in writing, so that I can have something to refer back to if needed. When this option is not available I may ask for things to be repeated so I can take my own thorough notes. I like to ask questions before I begin a task to gather all of the necessary tools and information needed to complete it. Lastly, I’m flexible on communication styles. I understand that some instances may require talking things out verbally or even face to face/video while other instances may only require a couple of lines via text.
HOW I PREFER TO RECEIVE FEEDBACK:
I don’t have a preference in regards to verbal or written feedback, but I do prefer my feedback to include any positives (grows) if applicable along with the negatives (grows). I always consider feedback as an opportunity for learning and growth, so I value genuine and detailed feedback.
WORKING STYLE:
While I consider myself detail-oriented I always evaluate the situation and ultimately focus on the bigger picture. My work style is logical. I analyze the task, make a plan, and then work to get it done.
